I've always been fascinated by old photographs, the black and white images that capture moments of history but I often wondered what it really looked like as the photographer took that photo. After all, we live in a world full of colour and these people, captured in time, would have seen the world around them in that full, glorious colour.
After thinking about it for so many years, I decided to see if I could bring some of these moments of history into full colour, yes, it's a painstaking task that can last weeks but I think it's worth it.
